Expert Witness/Testimony (Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Trauma)
For nearly 20 years, I’ve been working with survivors of trauma and crime in hospital-based and private practice settings. I previously led New York Presbyterian's Victim Intervention Program (VIP) providing acute emergency room support, counseling, and case management services to victims of crime and trauma and their families; prior to that I worked at The Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention (SAVI) Program at Mount Sinai Hospital in a similar capacity. I have previously been certified as a domestic violence expert and regularly testify as an expert witness with District Attorneys offices in the Tri-State area.

Workshops and Professional Training (Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Trauma)
Although prevalent in every culture and community, many people do not know the facts when it comes to issues of interpersonal violence.  I am committed to educating others on these topics and have years of experience facilitating educational "101" lectures and interactive group discussions for medical, legal and other professional and community audiences. Presentations are tailored to your group's needs and interests.  Past clients include: Joyful Heart Foundation, The Westchester Hispanic Coalition, New York City Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Training Institute, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, The Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Weill-Cornell Medical Center, and numerous community and civic organizations.

Clinical Supervision
I am committed to furthering the social work profession and enjoy working with newly graduated social workers.  I have a strong interest in coaching/mentoring others who are just beginning a new psychotherapy practice as well as working with those who have been in practice for years, looking to connect with a like-minded supervisor.  I offer you and your practice support while guiding you to a deeper level of clinical understanding and conceptualization of the work.  Supervision is offered to both individuals as well as groups (maximum of 4).

Case Consultation
With nearly 20 years of experience working with survivors of trauma, I am well-versed in trauma theory, crisis intervention and the many clinical presentations that manifest when people are struggling with such issues in their current lives and personal histories.  I assist colleagues in navigating these complex issues as they arise in treatment and provide close collaboration throughout the duration of treatment.
